The Lingerie Football League has been in full effect this season.  Friday’s match up was between the New York Majesty and the Philadelphia Passion.

The game was played at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA to a mostly male crowd of about 400 and marked the debut of the LFL this year.

A local Philly newspaper reported that fans were so excited to see the sexy, lingerie clad women that they nearly knocked the foam off the walls from the end zone!

However….

Unlike the Yankees, the NY Majesty didn’t stand much of a chance against Philly’s offense.  The Philly Passion beat NY 40-6 with wide receiver Tyra Lusby scoring 5 touchdowns.

Fortunately, the ladies, whether winners or losers…all looked smoking hot!

Mayor Eric Brewer had just finished his first term in East Cleveland and was looking to take on his second term.  Unfortunately, Brewer did not even make it past the first round!

Brewer was defeated in a primary last month by Council President Gary Norton, and will represent the Democratic party this coming November.

Remember not too long ago, these beautiful women announced that they were starting a pro football league….and only wearing lingerie? While some of us were in disbelief on such a concept, the Lingerie Football League is still in fact slated to open as scheduled in the Fall of 09.

But on the bright side, O’neal is actually an athlete in  her own right and also a heavily favored contestant on the show: Big Break XI:Prince Edwards Island. Her resume includes being a repeated NCAA Long Drive Champion, turning pro in 2004, and boasts a modeling contract as well as a nod from Sports Illustrated being named, “One of the Hottest 50 Athletes of All-Time”.

O’neal has advanced to the final two of Big Break XI: Prince Edward Island.  This series is in its 9th season and features 12 aspiring golfers exhibit their skills through a series of challenges for a grand prize of 100K, which is the largest prize offered on the show to date.

Will O’neal defeat opponent Derek Gilespie in the Season Finale on June 29th ?
