Beginning with her screen debut as an orphan kidnapped by a professional hit man in the 1994 film The Professional, Natalie Portman has dazzled us with superb performances that include that of Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, the love-struck stripper Alice Ayres AKA Jane Jones in Closer and a convincing portrayal of the shaved-head victim/heroine Evey Hammond in V for Vendetta.

In what is being hailed as her most compelling performance to date Natalie stars as a ballerina in Black Swan, Darren Aronofsky’s highly touted film.

For her performance in Black Swan, Ms. Portman was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in Motion Picture, along with a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.

In the past few days we learned that Natalie is expecting her first child with her new fiance Benjamin Millepied, her on screen partner and choreographer in Black Swan.

In 2011 Natalie can be seen in No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher, in Kenneth Branagh’s film adaptation of Thor and will provide a sassy thong-bikini striptease in Your Highness, a medieval-themed adventure comedy film with James Franco.

Actress, dancer, model, television personality and author, Brooke Burke shows off her bikini-bod on the cover in Shape magazine’s January 2011 issue.  The former Playboy cover girl looks HOT in her steel gray bikini.  This mother of four shows off her shapely figure, not to mention her exquisitely toned abs on the cover and between the pages of the January issue and while she doesn’t bare all, no doubt she’s sexy and in shape.

Burke’s early modeling career took shape on the BlueNudes website and as a model for Venus Swimwear and Fredrick’s of Hollywood.  When she stripped down for Playboy magazine in May 2001 and November 2004, her career caught fire.

Salma Hayek WOWS on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Spain’s V magazine.  More images of sexy Salma are also featured between the pages of the magazine’s main attraction, an article entitled “Weapons of a Woman.”  Fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, head designer and creative director for the fashion house Chanel was the creative director of the photo shoot.

The catwalk was all-a-glitter as the sexiest, naughty-n-nice angels on the planet sashayed to a festive medley of pop music hits.

Once again the shapely Victoria’s Secret angels rocked the runway… their heavenly bodies adorned in an exotic collection of corsets, pushup bras, thongs, panties, bustiers, boyshorts and wings.

Performers included Akon and the “Hot ‘N Cold” Katy Perry, who sang about her “Teenage Dream”.  Later in the show the sassy newlywed appeared perched inside an enormously extravagant pink Swarovski crystal-encrusted dog and brought down the house with her latest version of “California Gurls.”

The live audience and television viewers were charmed by the revealing lingerie and exquisite costumes worn by this year’s VS angels who included: Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Chanel Iman, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Karolina Kurkova and Selita Ebanks.

Cher, the iconic Pop/Rock Diva and Oscar-wining actress, shares the stage with multiple Grammy winner, “Dirrty” dancing, “Genie in a Bottle” songbird Christina Aguilera in the new movie Burlesque.

This musical burlesque style cabaret unfolds at The Burlesque Lounge on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip.  Main characters in the movie are the club’s owner and retired burlesque legend Tess (played by Cher), and Ali (played by Christina), a small-town girl from Iowa who moves to Hollywood with big dreams and a big voice.  Ali lands a waitress job at the club and eventually becomes the star of the club’s burlesque show.

The Lounge’s troupe dancers and other cast members include:  Stanley Tucci, Alan Cumming, Eric Dane, Peter Gallagher, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell, and Dancing With The Stars winner Julianne Hough.  The movie was written and directed by Steve Antin, producer of the Pussycat Dolls.

Burlesque opens on theater screens nationwide today.   Amidst the bump-and-grind glitzy dance routines are romantic entanglements and dramatic dressing-room catfights.  The movie features lots of barely there outfits, sexy costumes, corsets, bustiers, feather boas and plenty of other sextras.

This week tennis superstar Venus Williams served up both winners and controversy during her early-round matches on the red clay at Roland Garros, site of the 2010 French Open Championships.  Bolstered by her number 2 world-ranking, her 20 Grand Slam titles, her exceptional tennis skills and a sassy tennis dress, she’s been a smashing success!

As a result of Venus’ sexy-flirty outfit, there were plenty of ooh-la-la moments during her early round matches that were played on Court Suzanne Lenglen and Court Philippe Chatrier.  Every time she served, hit a forehand winner or smashed an overhead shot; her lacy see-through petticoat styled dress flew up to reveal her buxom bottom, clad in a pair of flesh-toned boyshorts.

In his article entitled: “Venus Fashions Controversy With Style” by Greg Couch, the national columnist for FanHouse and former sports columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times wrote,

“What you have to decide about Venus Williams’ dress is whether it is fashion art or pornography.  Is she trying to appear nude or just naked?”

Mademoiselle Williams has successfully played her way into the round of 16 and when asked about her sassy, see-through corset-themed dress following her 1st, 2nd and 3rd round victories, she’s said…

“It’s really all about the illusion, What’s the point of wearing lace when there’s just black under?”

“Lace has never been done before in tennis, and I’ve been wanting to do it for a long time.  The illusion of just having bare skin is definitely for me a lot more beautiful.”

Here’s an interesting fact:  In the past, players have been fined for their outfits at other Grand Slam events.  Given all the hoopla, the Roland Garros organizers chose a photo of Venus wearing the racy-lacy dress, for the cover of Wednesday’s program booklet.

As the 2010 Miss USA winner is set to be crowned this weekend, pageant officials have been doing double time on the morning and evening talk shows in defense of racy photos showcasing 2010 contestants posed in sexy lingerie.  In an effort to spice things up, pageant officials commissioned photographer Fadil Berisha, to shoot the beauty queens in a Playboy-themed promo entitled “Waking Up In Vegas”.

The risqué photos feature beauty queens provocatively posing on rumpled bedding in an alluring array of sexy panties, boy shorts, push-up bras, corsets, and sexy thigh-high stockings.  Of course, we all remember the controversy that erupted last year when sexy lingerie photos surfaced of Carrie Prejean (the original winner of the Miss California pageant) ended up costing her the crown.

Emmy-nominated star and co-producer of the reality television series The Apprentice, Miss USA franchise owner Donald Trump is not concerned by the controversy and has decided not to utter his infamous “You’re Fired” statement.

Tim Winter from the Parents Television Council explained, “There has been a growing debate over the line between a beauty pageant and soft-core pornography…and I think this year’s pageant not only erases that line, it obliterates it.”

Mr. Trump’s response, “We are in a different age.  They are a little bit sexy but I’ll tell you what – everybody’s watching, so I have no problems with it.”

Miss USA 2010 will be broadcast live on NBC at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday May 16th from the Theatre for the Performing Arts within Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.  This year’s co-hosts are Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone and Today show correspondent Natalie Morales.  Color commentary will be provided by the former Celebrity Apprentice mother-daughter duo, Joan and Melissa Rivers. The Pop-rock group Boys Like Girls will perform during the swimsuit competition and country music star Trace Adkins will perform during the evening gown competition.  The winner will represent the United States in the Miss Universe 2010 competition.

The world has gone gaga for Lady Gaga, who at age 24 has become the hottest performer of her generation.  With only two albums under her belt, TIME magazine declared Lady Gaga one of The World’s Most Influential People in 2010.

The TIME magazine photo seen above presents an image of a white hot Gaga donning an electrically-charged bustier.  Dressed in a Giorgio Armani designed, lingerie-themed bodysuit produced from embroidered chantilly lace and crystal, with jet beading and topped off by a silk organza cape, she and her half-naked dancers rocked the American Idol stage last night with another sultry mash-up of “Alejandro” and “Bad Romance.”

Grammy Award–winning pop singer Cyndi Lauper’s essay on Lady Gaga in TIME magazine shared the following thoughts on this avant-garde performer…

“I first heard the name Lady Gaga through a mutual friend. He couldn’t stop talking about her.  Then I heard her music, and I thought, Wow, I love this kid.

“An artist’s job is to take a snapshot — be it through words or sound, lyrics or song — that explains what it’s like to be alive at that time”.

“When ‘Bad Romance’ starts, the music grabs your ear immediately. Then she opens with the line ‘I want your ugly/ I want your disease,’ and all of a sudden you’re listening”.

”I can’t wait to see how she grows and what she decides her next act will be. I find it very comforting to sit next to somebody and not have to worry that I look like the freak. She isn’t a pop act, she is a performance artist. She herself is the art. She is the sculpture.”
