True Blood=Truly Amazing, New Season Airs Sunday

Twilight movies have been leaving Vampire lovers yearning for more, but no worries, “True Blood” returns to HBO this Sunday, June 14th.

The hit show returns for its second season and is already creating a frenzy.  For those of you who live on Mars and haven’t heard of the series, it is based on author Charlaine Harris’ nine book series about vampires entering civilization due to the discovery of synthetic blood, which eliminates the desire for human blood.

Well…not entirely.

You’ll also find a relationship between Sookie (non vampire/waitress) and Bill (vampire) which creates unique dynamics and scenarios throughout the season.  The two are also a real life couple off the set as well.

This season is based on the 2nd novel in Harris’ series of books, titled ‘Living Dead in Dallas’. True Blood‘s premiere episode averaged 2.3 million which is an impressive number that continues to rise with DVR and On Demand usage.

This season is going to be filled with all the vampires, blood, lust, and mayhem we have all been waiting for.

Season 2 unfolds into three story lines: Bill and Sookie, with teen vamp Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll)  off to find a missing vampire; Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Sam (Sam Trammell) thrown off  by Maryann (Michelle Forbes); and Sookie’s questionable brother, Jason (Ryan Kwanten), attends a conference of the anti-vampire Fellowship of the Sun.
